This network of contacts has been built up over the last 30 years by Mr. John Burton the Founder and Executive Director of GeoExperts. Mr. Burton (resume attached) has lived and worked in five African countries, Libya, Gabon, Ghana, Nigeria and Cameroon, and has visited several other African countries during his career with Shell and Phillips Petroleum.
Exclusive E&P Opportunities
Mr. Burton, a career geologist, has worked on all phases of the Upstream of the international oil & gas industry. In his last full-time position in Africa, Mr. Burton was the Cameroon Country Manager for Phillips Petroleum Company with special responsibility for West Africa. In that position he was involved in oil & gas exploration, LNG projects, exploitation projects and government relations.
GeoExperts, founded in 1999 by Mr. Burton, is currently working in a number of African countries providing a number of services such as government liaison, exploration services, local facilities and training organization and administration.
Mr. FRANCOIS ROGER NGUENE heads up the GeoExperts Africa organization. Mr. NGUENE is Cameroonian and was for several years the Head of Exploration & Production for the National Oil Company of Cameroon (SNH). In this position, Mr. NGUENE gained wide experience in the E&P process and a wide circle of contacts amongst the other national oil companies in Africa.
Once contracted by the client, GeoExperts will actively pursue exclusive E&P opportunities as specified by the client. Once the client has approved these opportunities, GeoExperts will assist in facilitating the negotiations and discussions in Africa.
GeoExperts can assist the client in all phases of the meetings leading to an approved agreement between the client and the existing parties.
With its wide portfolio of contractors and consultants, GeoExperts can assist the client in all the subsequent phases of E&P, through seismic surveys, processing, interpretation, drilling, evaluation of well results and acreage evaluations.
